4 Cancer patients are given a cheque for Rs 25000 each, 2 patients were given a cheque of Rs 15000 each, one cheque of Rs 20000 was given for a marriage on 17/10/25.

14th Blood Donation Camp

On 12/02/2026 the 14th Blood Donation Camp was organized at Asansol Rabindra Bhavan under the joint initiative of Asansol Pragati and B.N. Ghati, in collaboration with the District Hospital and the Burnpur Voluntary Blood Donors Association. The camp was inaugurated by Swami Somatmananda Maharaj, Head of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol. Total blood donors: 89. Among them, women donors: 14. On the occasion, with Swamiji’s blessings, a wheelchair was donated to a child. Financial assistance was also provided: ₹25,000 each to two individuals for medical treatment, and ₹15,000 to one individual for medical treatment.

On 12/01/2026 the 164th birth anniversary of Swamiji

The 164th birth anniversary of Swamiji was celebrated at the premises of Asansol Rabindra Bhavan. With Swamiji’s blessings, cheques of ₹25,000 each were handed over to three individuals for medical treatment. Two tricycles and one wheelchair were distributed to beneficiaries. In addition, hostel fees for three months were provided to four students. Prasad was distributed at the end of the programme. Approximately 170–180 people were present at the event.
