New Clothes Distribution for Durga Puja: Spreading Joy

Since 2020, the Vivekananda Ashram in Hirapur has focused on distributing new clothes specifically to children in need, in celebration of Durga Puja. Previously, the event served people of all age groups in the surrounding areas of Asansol. This year, over 150 children will receive new clothes, including shirts, pants, and traditional wear, ensuring they can partake in the festive celebrations. The event not only provides much-needed clothing but also strengthens community bonds as Pragati members join the program, sharing a meal with the children and local villagers. This initiative helps spread joy, fosters unity, and creates a sense of togetherness within the community during the festival season.
